    New Big 12 family portrait

For some reason the artist was stupid and didn't know cardinals were red.

    So I fixed it:

I also noticed that Texas is the highlighted team, pretty stupid if you ask me, however I thought that the overall painting was pretty good.

While you're at it, Sooners don't wear Indian headresses.

I assume the artist knows all of this, hes just recreating the original from the big 8

Re: New Big 12 family portrait

The sooners once had an idian as a logo. This is based off an old set of conference family postcards and it looks like they have just taken pieces of the swc, big 8, and wvu and merged them. I have never understood the represntation of ISU in this one as I do not think it is pre-1950 whenever cy was adopted, but maybe it was pre cy and they just took a liberty.

Historically, Oklahoma did have a Native American character for a mascot named "Little Red" at one point in time.

just because it's old doesn't make it right. Whats wrong then is still wrong today.
