    Wacom Tablet.

    Just bought one today and all I have to say is it is awesome. Anyone else own one of these what are some good tricks?

    I use a small Wacom Bamboo for photo editing. As for tricks, practice makes perfect.

    I have 2, one for work and one for home. They are a necessity for anyone in the design field.

    Drawing and sketching is amazing, but wait until you get to the more mundane tasks of outlining images and masking them. Amazing the productivity increase you get as opposed to try to control anything with a mouse.

    What is the learning curve like? I believe you can use them with AutoCAD as well but not sure if that would be faster for me or not. I'd use it primarily in Illustrator and Photoshop. I've been looking at the medium Intuos 3, then the 4 and now the 5... Is the 5 worth it or should I finally pull the trigger on a 4. They seem to hold their value pretty well as used ones cost nearly the same as new...

    Also, I'd use the crap out of it redlining pdf submittals/shop drawings in bluebeam. Might be the primary use in the end.
