This is terrible, I read about it earlier. I believe they are members of the Bramlage family, after whom the Octagon of Doom is named.

The Octagon of Doom was funded and named after Fred Bramlage. The family killed was one of Fred's grandsons. The Bramlage family in Kansas are noted for being just good people. Even the Jayhawks have nothing bad to say about them.

Terrible story. Seems like too many of these crashes involve these small type planes. I'd never get on one of these.

What a sad story and condolences to the remaining Bramlage family and Kansas State community.

A vast majority of these accidents are pilot error and have little to do with the plane. This plane in question, was not your typical single engine piston plane, it was a single engine turbo prop(basically a jet with prop). That being said. I love flying, but I would be hesitant to put my whole entire family on a plane I was flying, you just never know.

Would never get on a plane with someone who flys on the side as a hobby, especially on a long flight like that.

Very Sad story. If the tides were turned and that happened to us, those DB's at EMAW would be all over us like they are with the flooding incident. I fully expect ISU fans to be classy and not stoop to that level which makes it one of the great reasons why I love being a Cyclone.

Horrible story, our prayers go out to the KSU family.

I've been to (2) ISU vs KSU football games in Manhatten and have always had a great time. They have a great program and I look forward to another close game in Ames this Fall.

goemaw.com is reserved for ****** bags. The good Wildcat fans can be found on the Scout website. Most of the goemaw crowd has been banned from Scout.
