    Pacers interview with Royce White

    Just becuase I'm a Pacers fan, I thought I'd post this. It's a good listen/read...

    http://www.nba.com/pacers/white-eye-opening-prospect

I would love to see him land in Indiana, but I doubt he fails to 26th...

ditto. Great article. Royce has such great poise in front of a camera. He just appears so comfortable. You'd think that would make a big impact on pre draft interviews.

He sounds like he has been in the NBA for years...I agree. I had to stop and think when he said he was only 21. Crazy.

Re: Pacers interview with Royce White

Not saying that he doesn't have the ability to start but I think he would be a ridiculously tough 6 man coming off the bench. Sometimes teams keep a better player with a different skill set to do that like Ginobli or Harden on the bench to start games, but they still end up averaging 36 minutes. I could totally see Royce doing that and giving teams fits.

Guys who do this in the NBA are likely to get some hard fouls on the next plays by the guys they dunk over.

Exactly..... and white is strong enough to finish through those fouls.

Re: Pacers interview with Royce White

That was awesome White is def one of my all time favorites

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

How could any NBA team NOT want this guy. He is one of the few players that doesn't need to score to be happy or succeed, he is very articulate and bright, and he is a leader in the community. It makes me so frustrated that no matter how well he handles it or how outspoken he is, all the pundits still hammer him on the anxiety. Really makes me question how much they really know about ANYONE besides the top 2 or 3 players..

I agree, especially with some of the self centered jack ***** who headline the league.
