    Preferred auto-body shop- Suggestions?

I was in a fender bender this morning and need the name of a reputable body shop in the Ames/Story City area. Anybody have any suggestions.

    Thanks.

I've had good experiences with Mikes Body and Frame in Ames (219 North Oak Avenue) for other (non-collision) work. They're worth checking out.

Don and sons body shop. Owned by my wife's uncle...I actually worked there in college. Tell Todd I referred you. Professor Powers (a finance professor) recommends them as well.

Thanks for the help guys, and since the accident wasn't my fault I'm not looking for the cheapest, but the best. And I will need a vehicle for a few days as well.

Wayne Larson is terrible. I have been to Don and Sons, Shaffers, and Boelman's, and Wayne Larson.

Don and Sons does the best work. No question.

Boelman's will get you a good price for decent work.

Don and Sons. They will quote the highest (you get what you pay for), but since you aren't paying for it, there is only one way to go.
