    Big 12 connections:

    - Former ISU recruit and KU player Tyrone Appleton transferred to Southwest Baptist. Although I'm not sure he ever played a minute there. And to think how badly this board wanted the guy.

    - Former TCU head coach and KU assistant Neil Daugherty has a son, Ryan, who recently graduated from SBU. Neil also coached a couple of my teams during grade school.

    Also interesting: Each player's profile on the school's website contains a favorite bible verse.

    And even with that, this thread still deserves every "Who cares?" response it gets.
