Don't Get It, Andre Drummond as a 3rd pick

Why would anyone pick him in the top 5, if Cleveland picks him as a 3rd pick it will be very shocking, Cleveland needs help as a team short term and not long term...

    Potential. See DeAndre Jordan.

Cleveland needs help ASAP, they should not draft based on potential...

Royce would be a great fit for Boston. He could learn a lot from Garnett.

If Barnes and Sullinger came out last year, wouldnt they been in the top 5?

They're going to be rebuilding for a while so why not draft a big man with potential?

Yes, but Drummond won't be an effective player, if ever, for 3 or 4 years, and by that time his rookie contract will be up. The #3 pick should be a guy that should start producing by year two. Drummond should go mid to late first round in my opinion. He won;t obviously, but should.

Yeah the only teams who can afford to draft without looking at potential are title contenders. And really they can't either.

Although I can't really see the Cavs having any bigger need than a scoring wing. They have Verajeo (sp) to anchor down the 5 spot. I hope they get Beal or Gilchrist and it really doesn't make sense to me to take Drummond, especially with his question marks about effort and character.

We have two first round picks. I'm really pulling for Bradley Beal 1A and Royce White 1B to go with last years pair of top picks Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson.

Really, you think they are just a couple of players away from being a contender?

    That would be nuts.

I just got the the Cavs with the 1st pick on my first try on the mock lottery generator on ESPN, so I guess we could settle for Anthony Davis.....

Indiana could use him after watching their effort tonight. They need a go to person bad.

Let my Fred's Posse Ride: Georges, Naz, Hogue, Bryce, Nader, Monte, Matt, and McKay.

Almost everybody is a couple players from being a contender......

Irving is going to be a star, Verejao is a good defensive center, Tristan Thompson can hopefully progress and be a talent worthy of a top 5 pick. From my understanding Jamison is open to staying after this year as a veteran leader and not as much of a focal point which is good. Add two first rounders this year and that is a team that could steal a playoff spot.

What? Garnett waits for the pass after Rondo penetrates to shoot the 15' jumper and then plays dirty as hell on defense. Royce takes the ball 15' out and then wants to drive and is a poor jump shooter.

Royce has more in common with Rajon Rondo than he does with Kevin Garnett.
