    ISU Season Tix 1st Timer

    Hey CycloneFanatics,

I have my wedding coming up in a month and I just opened up my laptop and my fiance's email was up.. In her inbox was a confirmation from ISU athletics for season football tickets!!! (I knew I picked a good one! )

This will be my first time as a season ticket holder.. Normally I would just go straight to the games, but now I was wondering if anyone could help me out with other things that I might need to get, Parking Pass, Tailgating spots, helpful tailgating tips, etc...

Any info on being a season ticket holder would be great!

    Thanks,

If your fiance didn't order a parking pass with the season tickets you are probably SOL on that one unless you buy from a third party. They have been sold out for some time now.

You can pay 20$ per game to park in the public ISU lots (along S 16th) or in the private "Haunted Forest" lot off of S 4th.

Both areas have plenty of good tailgating, though I'd go with the public lots if you can, as your money will go to ISU.

When do new season ticket holders find out seating assignments?

I e-mailed the ticket office with that very question yesterday. They told me I'd hear something in mid to late June.

Same here! My wife bought season tickets for us, for the first time, this year! She did have the foresight(or at least the ticket sales lady did) to have us get the parking pass as well. SEE YOU ALL THERE!

Also the Hilton and Scheman lots are public for $20. We like to listen to the band warm up and then march through the parking lot with them.

However, I believe you can't do any grilling in these lots. I have no idea why, just some dumb rule.

We grill every week in clear sight of the guards.

Don't be afraid to invite visiting team fans over to your tailgate for a bite/beer....they usually wander around like lost sheep and are forever grateful if you take them in. Plus give ISU fans an even better name.

I plan on adopting quite a few WVU fans..

When are they btw? I've been a FB season tix holder for awhile, excited to be BBALL now this year too

to OP - There's really no bad spot outside JTS on gameday. I've tailgated in the grass lots SE of stadium for years and it's a blast. Beer, grill, beersbee, bags, laddergolf, etc. all make the time awesome. Arrive early.

ISU license plates, just $50 at: http://www.iamvd.com/ovs/plates/index.htm

Not sure. Season ticket renewal forms have not even gone out yet, though. Probably in the next couple months...

I assure you that if one were to write a big enough check, Jamie would find a place for them.
