    2012 Season Ticket Question

I was thinking about buying season tickets for me and my brother. NATEizKING has helped me a little bit in finding out things (thank you, by the way). Is the gold seating bad? We have not donated and are over 29. Not really wanting to spend a $1,000 on one year.

Edit: any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Although, I'm not sure what I have to donate to get better than gold seats.

Gold seating is end balconies I believe unless you go with singles tickets and cost $175. Over 20-29 tickets are $375 plus donation for better seating.

With the exception of the first few rows in JTS there are no bad seats IMHO.

Then we might be down for giving a $100-$500 donation.

    Re: 2012 Season Ticket Question

I assume you mean the Gold donor level ($1000 donation + ticket cost) when you say "gold seats." I sit in a Section O about a third of the way up the balcony on the 48 yard line. The seats are great. It's high enough you can see sideline-to-sideline, goalline-to-goalline but JTS isn't big enough for any seat to feel "too far away." If this is your first year donating I'd guess you'll be in the same section on the east side as we've requested to move our 2 seats to the west side or lower level each of the past three years and not gotten it.

Any place in JTS is a good place to be. With the new videoboard I'd prefer to sit on the south end so you see it at less of an angle, and so it's a little quieter. A couple times last year I got home and my right ear sounded like it was full of cotton from taking the brunt of the new sound system for 3+ hours.

You can spend a lot of time and money picking out the perfect floral bouquet for your date ... but you're probably better off checking if you have bad breath and taking the porn out of the glove compartment.

The moral: you gain more by not being stupid, than you do by being smart. Smart gets neutralized by other smart people. Stupid does not.

No, oh nelly, no. We don't have a $1000 to give out like that. I meant gold as in the no donation, $175 per person, section 1, 17, A, and K, which are on the edge. Are those good? We'd be willing to donate $100-$500, to get closer.

Why don't you just buy the $225 seats? No donation required.

Same question, are they any good? Or should we donate and move closer?

I am of the opinion there are no bad seats in Jack Trice Stadium. Worst seats I have been in were around the 40yd line 2 rows back. And that was because it was difficult to see around the team on the sideline at times.

Thank you, I'll consider just buying season tickets and not donating then.
