    If I was in this situation, and were really wrongfully fired I would push some type of legal action. I may have another job, but that company needs to pay for how they treated me. There is a reason they have laws against this type of thing. I may not be a lawyer, but I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before.

    I would go with either an arsonist or a hitman, whichever is cheaper. Both will probably be effective.

    Define "wrongfully". Were you fired because you are a certain race/color/creed, or were you fired because you are so bad at your job even a huge event such as getting fired could go unnoticed for 5 days?

    Depends, did you ever tell anyone at work that Iowa State needs to bring baseball back? If so, it voids all legal action that you may have been able to take. And is usually grounds for immediate termination.

    Iowa is an at-will employment state. You can be fired for any reason - good cause, bad cause or no cause at all - except for race, creed, and other federally protected groups.

    You can sue for unemployment if they contest that, but since you have another job I think there is nothing you are owed by your former employer.
