    Who would you rather have?

    A&M, Nebraska, Colorado, and Missouri?
    Or
West Virginia, TCU, and 2 others to be named.

My Vote is WV, and TCU
    Reasons:
West Virginia, brings 2 BCS Bowl Victories to the Conference, plus a decent basketball program.
    TCU- Brings Rose Bowl Victory.

I'd prefer the first group for the sake of geography and history. When Missery and Nebraska quit it left us on a geographic island in the big 12.

So...you want them because they have combined fewer BCS bowl victories than Nebraska has National Championships?

Not saying I disagree with you or that WVU and TCU aren't good enough, but your logic makes little sense. And WVU's basketball history is nice, but nothing to get too excited about.

Re: Who would you rather have?

The financial/prestige decision is totally different than one based as a fan.

Road trips to Colorado, Mizzou, and Nebraska for football were all easy and will be hard to replace. The one thing I am going to miss the most about college realignment is all of the easy road trips.

screw mizzou, nebraska, texas a and m, and colorado. they are a bunch of quitters. we do not need a bunch of crybables in the conference. be happy we have tcu, west virginia and a very good potential of picking up notre dame. we should go after houston or colorado state and get back to a 12 team conference..

Great post until you mentioned Houston and Colorado State. I think B12 has their eyes on bigger fish. Sounds like FSU and Clemson are done deals unless the Domers want to complicate it all.

Re: Who would you rather have?

No logic in this because well...this thread has none and its the entirely too long offseason:

I'd take Nebraska, TCU, WVU, and Florida State. F Misery and Colorado. Just my opinion

Re: Who would you rather have?

While i'm happy with the additions we're getting, for geography's sake i'll always miss MU\CU\NU. TAMU i'm a bit conflicted on. Had a great time down there on a few occasions, and even agreed with some of their complaints (as many would probably remember from last year's portion of the megathread), but good god they have gone off the deep end with bitterness towards the big 12. I dont begrudge Colorado for making the jump. It was no secret for a long time they wouldve been intereste in the PAC, and they made their move when it looked like if they didnt there was the potential they could get politic-ed out of a spot by the texas teams in favor of Baylor.

I would trade TCU for any of the 3 non texas schools, merely because TCU, while giving us a solid performer on the field, gave us little to nothing in terms of new audience... we had 3 teams in texas even with TAMU leaving, we really didnt need another. They were picked solely because they were an acceptable success level at a time we were desperate. Any other time and they likely dont get an invite.

If i could have any combination of the 4, at this point i'd go WVU, FSU, NU, MU.

Re: Who would you rather have?

It is what it is with our teams, can't change any of that; however, I would have liked to seen how all of this realignment stuff was handled without Don Bebee at the helm at any point in time.

I agree.... But CSU has as many students as ISU and Houston has more. Natl brand isn't as big, but it could be.

If we are going by number of students, then the Big 12 should look at the University of Phoenix.

Wait, didn't WV and TCU "quit" their conferences?
