    Go Cozzetti

Nice article in the sports today about locally owned horse Cozzetti (named partially for Ankeny football coach Jerry Pezzetti, who is racing today in the Preakness. He's a longshot against the top finishers in the Derby, but could be strong down the stretch, and I'll put a few bucks on him.

One of Cozzetti's two owners, Jason Loutsch is the primary owner of this website. Just an FYI. It'd be SWEET to see him win today.

Need one of the horses named after CF. of course, he'd be too busy complaining to run anywhere.

I'm sure Pollard could make the horse a winner. Should you email him or should I?

    Re: Go Cozzetti

Bodemeister is going to win, Creative Causeway in place and Tiger Walk for show. I really would like to see I'll Have Another win and have a potential triple crown winner going into the Belmont, but I've been dissappointed to many times over the years.

Finish in the money and you retire to stud. Finish out of the money and you end up as cheap dog food. No pressure, Cozetti!

    Re: Go Cozzetti

NBC had plenty of love for Jason and coach Pezzetti in a segment on Cozzetti that just ran on the pre-race show. They showed a pic of the coach and his Ankeny team and talked about Jason's all-state honors as a middle linebacker when he played for Ankeny. Too bad they couldn't work in a Cyclone Fanatic angle for a little free pub.

letsCYber- So that's where it came from. I did see the movie but again I'm waaay too old to remember anything about it. Cake eaters must mean the same thing as whipper snappers.

    Urban Dictionary: cake eater

The definitions after the Mighty Ducks one is how "Cake Eater" is commonly used.

    Re:Go Cozzetti

Probably originated with Marie Antoinette's "let them eat cake". That's probably old enough for Cyko
