    Offense 2008

So I am really tickled with the quarterback position right now, but I really can't say that with the rest of the offense with the exception of the running backs and the offensive line.

WR we lose Todd Blythe and Milan Moses
    TE Ben Barkema

I think we will have a good quarterback next year and a reliable running game. However I am kind of scared of the passing game right now. Should I be this scared? Out of these three receivers Bates, Hamilton, Messiah I think Hamilton looks promising. Bates there is just the question of what position will he play, and Messiah will ok but I don't if he can be the play maker being so young that he is.

Any thoughts to relieve me of this?

Judging by the other thread of yours, I would say you are easily tickled. Just giving you a hard time.....optimists are great to have around, and I'm one too. I think there will be a lot of positives to look forward to next year. I believe the quarterback position has to be seen as a weakness until proven otherwise. I love the receivers, running backs, and prospects on the offensive line, and I like the defense's chances too.

QB is the only one that concerns me atm as well. With Sumrall and Hamilton probably the 1 and 2 receivers I think we should be ok there.

I think Sumrall can be very solid next to Hamilton next year, and I bet they expect Franklin and Graham to contribute next year.

    Re: Offense 2008

Forgive me for being so new to this (I should have gotten into when I first heard about a little over a year ago), but what does Rep Level mean, and what is the significance of a Reb Level of 35,677 with 7 posts?

You left out RJ as a reciever coming back. And hopefully between Christian Graham and Franklin one of them will step and play big. I think we will be fine there.

Rep level is how many push-ups you have to do every night to stay in the club. Get to it

Well, anyway.....if people like, or dislike your posts, they will give you rep points for it, and the amount is dependent on the repper's rep total. Incidently, I liked your other thread

I usually do the rep of ISUfan22. I think of it as motivation to do better posts, and obviously this is not one of them.

    Re: Offense 2008

I agree, the only question should be QB.

Although line play has improved immensely, its still a long way to go before I would consider them upper echelon in the Big 12

    Re: Offense 2008

Damn well I better start now if I want to go to bed before 2am. I guess the advantage to this is that my upper body will be pretty well defined in a couple weeks. To bad it will do little to improve my ever growing pony keg.
