    Indian Delights restaurant?

How many people have been there, over in West Ames by Hy-Vee? My husband is a pretty tough sell for Indian food, so this weekend was the first time I was able to convince him to order from there for the family, and it was amazing. All we've had is the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and Bengali mustard shrimp. Is there anything else you'd recommend? The binyani or whatever sounds interesting.

Isn't there another Indian place in town? Is it anywhere near as good?

    It's awesome.
Amazingly slow, like Lickliter basketball slow, but the taste is great!

I take Indians to India Palace (in Campustown) a few times each year and they seem to like it (of course, it isn't quite like India, but much better than they expect). Make sure to ask for Indian spices if you want it to be authentically Indian hot. Portions seemed to have gotten smaller the last time I went.

    Never been to India Delights.

I haven't eaten in yet. I ordered out while at work this week, and it only took five minutes - I've heard that they kind of seem to cater to take-out more than the in-restaurant diners, but I've got no point of reference!

Oh, I think I know that one - is it kind of by Dominos? I'll definitely have to try that, too.

Definitely give this place a try... and then let me know which is better! :)

The Campustown one is good, too.

I think I enjoyed the nan better at the western restaurant, but it's been a while.

Asian students enjoy both a great deal, if that helps.

As well as the ones from India. They love both of them. I think the one in Campus Town usually has a small buffet style lunch.

Never been there. I do like biryani though. I always seem to end up ordering vindaloo when I go out for Indian. Bring the heat!

I will have to try the biryani! I love coconut milk. Their tikka masala has a little kick, but not too much! They have peppers on the counter, but I haven't tried them!

    Bomb diggity.

Of course you don't have to take my word for it. You could always check Yelp.
