Easily stay put. I like the tradition of the old Big 6/7/8 teams playing together and call me old fashioned but I think a conference should be teams in the same geographic region.

Ideally, stay put but if I had no choice but to make a move this is what I'd do:

Drop CO, TAMU, and MU. Pick up WVU, Clemson, and FSU. Keep Nebraska.

    Re: Big XII Trade Offer

I don't. Nebraska, Mizzou, and Colorado all were traditional opponents. If we would have had real leadership we would have the 4 that left plus 2 others IMO.

I would stand, but if forced would boot aTm and CU, keep Nub and Mizery and add WVU and FSU.

    Re: Big XII Trade Offer

I posted this another thread but I will say it again: I absolutely hate conference re-alignment. Hate. Hate. Hate. I think conference re-alignment is severely damaging college athletics. I want BCS schools with a geographical proximity to one another to be in the same conference.

I would rather play Nebraska and Missouri than Florida State, Clemson, West Virginia, and TCU.

    Go Cyclones!

As much as i like our new or possible additions, i love tradition and actually miss playing our old members. So i would definitely stand.

I think this would have been best case scenario for the conference. In my opinion Nebraska is the only one that really hurt leaving the conference, obviously if it losing anyone hurt the conference especially the way it happened. But other than tradition and rivalries for ISU the other three really didn't do anything.

    Re: Big XII Trade Offer

I would prefer the regional games again as well.

Also, if the conference expands it pushes us closer and closet to being stuck in the East division and having NO regional division games. If we just go to 14 we will probably only get KU and KSU annually at 16 we'd be be the odd man out.

MU leaving did kill the MU/KU rivalry and we will likely never play for the Telephone Trophy again.

Oh and ATM will have to change their fight song since they wont be playing UT any more.

Stand pat. These new girls hanging around are sexy and all, but I miss the ones I had.
