Final weekend of English Premier League all over TV

Fox is airing all of the Premier League matches over the final weekend on it's multiple platforms (times are eastern time zone).

Premier League TV and Internet Schedule For U.S. Viewers | Premier League blog, soccer news and football shirts from EPL Talk

    Chelsea v Blackburn, 10am, SPEED/FOX Soccer 2Go
    Everton v Newcastle, 10am, foxsoccer.com/FOX Soccer 2Go
    Manchester City v QPR, 10am, ESPN2/ESPN3.com/ESPN Deportes
Norwich v Aston Villa, 10am, FOX Soccer 2Go
    Stoke v Bolton, 10am, FOX Soccer Plus/FOX Soccer 2Go
    Sunderland v Manchester United, 10am, FX/FOX Soccer 2Go
    Swansea v Liverpool, 10am, FUELtv/FOX Soccer 2Go
Tottenham v Fulham, 10am, FOX Soccer (available after midnight from FOX Soccer 2Go)
    West Brom v Arsenal, 10am, FSN/FOX Soccer 2Go
    Wigan v Wolves, 10am, FOX Soccer 2Go

Man City & Man U on ESPN2 and FX respectively. The Man City match could be very interesting as QPR still has to fight off relegation. United has the benefit of playing a club that really isn't playing for anything, but they are on the road. I wish the Bolton & Aston Villa matches were on more readily available networks since they are also in full-on survival mode.

I believe Victor's may be opening up early this weekend to accommodate people wanting to watch.

They needed 10 people to commit to coming before they'd say for sure.

The fight for that third spot should make for a few more interesting games, especially if Chelsea doesn't play like **** against Bayern like they are against Liverpool today and manages to win the Champion's League.

Not that I'm a fan of either team, but I really hope Man City ends up #1.

I'd be fine with that for a couple of reasons. First, it would be cool to have a club other than the typical 3 win for a change even though Man City isn't really a Cinderella story. They've certainly started spending like one of the big dogs.

But secondly, a Man City win would mean a QPR loss which would give Bolton a chance at staying up. It might not be the likely outcome, but I'd much rather see Stu Holden and Tim Ream playing in the Premier League next season than in the Championship.

So, is this a WNBA-type broadcast whether any watches or not? Or is there really this much market demand?

These matches are all at 8 am CST on Saturday. Even if they don't get crazy ratings I don't think it's going to kill Fox to put these matches on live on networks like FX, Speed, FuelTV, Fox Sports Regional Networks, etc. In fact, they will probably draw more eyeballs than whatever else would have been on at that time.

Should be a good weekend, the only for sure spots at the top and bottom is Blackburn. It'll be interesting to see how much fight QPR has for City.

Did Dempsey ever sign the Fulham extension? He might get a shot at a bigger club if he tests the market.

No, Dempsey has not signed an extension. He is still under contract for one more year, though.
