Lock Poker to Buy Cake Poker

I know there are a few poker players out there. Anyone play on Lock?

I've been there since Black Friday and really like it. I have really nice rb deal and their support is great so I'd rather stay there. Not sure how this is going to effect the traffic though. Could go either way I think.

I've all but stopped since Black Friday. Wish I lived in Minnesota so I could get my poker fix... Meskwaki doesn't do it for me all the time.

I've also stopped since Black Friday. Used to play on PokerStars.

Re: Lock Poker to Buy Cake Poker

I used to play like crazy when I was up at ISU for college days on Party Poker. After they went ahead I hit Full tilt one or twice. Haven't done anything since Black Friday. Luckily Riverside casino is close by here and there 30-50 dollar tourneys keep my poker need filled. I like cash games as well, I just usually don't have enough roll to play them most of the time. the 1-2 game at Riverside usually turns more into a 2-5 game with the way most of the locals play. The 3-6 limit game is fun, but usually makes me mad before the end of the night.

    Me too.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

I haven't played on anything since FullTilt and PokerStars went down. How is Lock Poker? Good game selection? Easy to get money on and off? I figured the game would be mostly pros by now after all the sites were shut down (Thanks for the UIGEA, you SOBs from the 2006 Congress).

Lock itself is a nice site. Great support, decent software, I've only deposited once and haven't cashed out (rebuilding my roll from Black Friday). The rakeback is awesome (45%+) for a US site. The volume/traffic is much less though, mostly due to the UIGEA etc.

Pre black friday I was playing 50NL and 100NL on Stars. Currently on Lock I'd compare those games to 25NL as far as skill set. I don't have near the time or energy for poker these days so I've been bouncing between 10 and 25 NL. There are plenty of good games during nights and weekends. If you play during the day in the week it's a nit fest though.
