    Compare and Contrast?

What do these three things have in common?

Sometimes they give you a situation and want to know how you'd handle it. Rational or irrational thinker.

I took the wonderlic test for my series of interviews for my job, got a 29.

It's a test. They will give you a Rubix cube and put Kate Upton in the room in a bikini doing the cat daddy. You have to solve the Rubix cube in one hour.

Let her defeat you, then cry and ask for a "hug."

    Re: Critical Thinking Exercise ...

Assessment tests that are designed measure critical thinking usually involve giving you lots of pieces of information. Then you will have to decide what is relevant and how to string all these ideas together to draw the best conclusion.

    Stay logical my friend.

This was my first assumption. That and maybe determine a plan of action given a specific situation.

Mostly, they are looking to see if you come back with a canned answer you obviously got from the internet.

    Questions like:
A disassembled .44 magnum is in the drawer in front of you. In two minutes, a bell will ring and a ravenous mountain lion will be released. Take whatever action is necessary; then give an explanation for your decision.

    Or

Define the universe; give three examples.

I would attempt to assemble the gun assuming there are bullets as well, then shoot the lion in the head as its released. If not I'd use the unassembled gun as a stabbing/ clubbing weapon and hope for the best.

    Re: Critical Thinking Exercise ...

Just be very skeptical throughout the exercise and you should fare well.
