    Heat Burst

Rare heat burst just occurred in Iowa | Weather - KCCI Home

I think my favorite part of the article is at the bottom where it says "Did you experience the heat burst? Tell us your story in the comments box below or email"

What is there to tell? It got warm for a while and then it wasn't as warm later on

I was there. It got warm for a while and then later on not so much. I've reported this to KCCI as ordered.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

    Re: Heat Burst

I totally experienced it. I was mowing, and it was just a nice, calm mow, not sweating at all, like normal. Out of nowhere, I was in a pool of sweat. And as soon as I realized how much I was sweating, I didn't think it was that hot out. I figured something was up, pretty cool that it was a heat burst.

Obviously your unfamiliar with the quality of local news. I'm sure they'll have 4 or 5 people on tonight talking about it.

No, I think for you, it was menopause.

Speaking of heat bursts, my lean cuisine was pretty hot when it came out of the microwave.

I am sorry I missed the heat burst so I don't have anything to report but I do feel the end of the world is fast approaching and the cause will be heat burst.

I think the cause will be over-consumption of Lean Cuisine meals. Agree to disagree I guess.

Is this due to the consumption of lean cuisines or the increased microwave radiation from the lean cuisines?

    Re: Heat Burst

Are they sure it wasn't just someone with a portable heater messing with weather station?

I wondered this too but then how to do you explain the increase in wind gusts and the decrease in the dew point?

Probably more so obese thigh friction from walking back and forth from fridge to microwave.

My guess is that some woman wasn't doing her job and left the stove on.
