New Billboards encourage pulling up your pants

Billboards Raised To Fight Sagging Pants - News Story - KXAS | Dallas

On another note, I was eating lunch today in a Grand Prairie restaurant (this is a family restaurant). A young chick came in with her jeans open, panties in full view. Upon further review, it appears that she had just come from a tattoo parlor, where she had gotten a big tramp stamp on her lower back...

I guess nobody can keep their pants up anymore...

At least it was not a dude... that would have ruined lunch.

Nothing convinces teens to change their behavior more than authorities their parents' age telling them they shouldn't do it.

And if you were going to kick off a campaign like this, wouldn't you proofread the billboards before you put them up?

It should be "Pull 'Em Up", not "Pullem' up" Why is there an apostrophe after the "m"?

I don't think people that wear their pants around their ankles care much about proper puncuation.

Correct. I understand that part. On guys it makes no sense. Its not even fashionable.

One thing I have seen alot lately is heavier women wearing jeans so tight they hang over. Its nothing against the weight, just against inproper fitting clothes. Do they think its hot? Have some pride in yourself.

This is Texas - we abbreviate and shorten everything without much concern for proper grammer and punctuation.

Should look at the story on skimpy dresses at a high school homecoming dance on the same website. The picture of the girls dress looks like something girls where all the time and they got in trouble for it. That may be taking clothing standards a little too far.

If I had written the billboard, it would have said:

"Pull your pants up. You look stupid. And you look even more stupid when you trip over your own pants and fall flat on your face."

"Don't worry Boss...they can't do nothin' 'til they're through sparklin'..."

I'm imagining that being spoken by Big Tex in that slow voice they use at the fair.
