    My 2007-08 season preview

    Juice blogs The Cyclones

I posted my preview today on my blog. Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think. I would have liked to get into even more detail but the blog post was already getting long and they don't like you getting too wordy in order to keep the reader's attention.

Also, I get monthly hit reports and sadly guys the Hawkeye blog is getting more hits than us right now! Granted I'm the only guy writing anymore because Andrew Dakin appears to be MIA and they do have 3 active writers for the Hawks. If anyone is interested in writing send me a PM and I'll see if they might be interested in adding another person or 2 possibly since we're a litle out-numbered on writers right now by the Hawks.

Huh, I wonder what happened to Andy, I used to work for his dad. Good guy.

I don't know Bryce, he basically posted a few times and we haven't seen him since the Iowa game I think. The Hawk guys ate that up saying he basically only shows up for 1 game a year just like our team does.

Excellent analysis and summary of the state of things. I don't think I've ever been more excited for the start of the basketball season. It will be really interesting to see how all the newcomers develop.

Um, he says Garrett and Staiger will start. I easily inferred that to mean Garrett will be at point guard.

Read a little slower, you know a minor thing like that, and you might pick things up.

Thank you! Didn't think I needed to put a starting lineup in there basically it was implied who I thought would be the starting guards if you read carefully. That's not even set in stone right now either as far as we know so wasn't much point in naming the 1-5 starters as part of that write-up.

i just thought it made it incomplete and strange

that you didnt even mention a jc all american newcomer who in the past the coach said might even start. You mention garrett, staiger, haluska, boozer, brister, and even taylor, mcintosh, and dunson. I just thought peterson deserved a mention.

Yeah I did leave him out just because I don't know much about him. And honestly, after seeing him in the Capitol City league I wasn't that impressed with him either. I hope he surprises me but I still think those other guys will wind up seeing more time than he does.

And I still think it was an excellent analysis and summary.
