Can you say....? "It's all about MONEY."

Jack Trice/ Ames is big enough for regular season victories, but not for playoffs. Can you say...? "It's all about MONEY."

Here's some others that wouldn't make the cut:

As much as it would be great for the sport to see a game played in Ann Arbor, Mich., Tuscaloosa, Ala., or Lincoln, Neb., some of the logistical issues are just too severe.

It makes sense. A town like Ames isn't equipped to handle 70,000 LSU or Bama fans showing up for something like this. They don't have enough hotels, restaurants, etc.... Not to mention that the ISU fans would probably only have access to half as many tickets as they would for a regular season home game. Neutral site games are the only way to do this.

You do realize that Hilton isn't big enough for NCAA games either, right?

Why would they split tickets? If you are going to have a home field advantage for being the top seed, the tickets should go to the home team first.

Playoff games should be played at neutral sites. Makes much more sense.

The Cyclones have their best year ever, are the higher seed, and play Auburn in the first round. WOUld you rather the game be played at JT or at Yankee Stadium?

How would this be different than Final Four in basketball?

Iowa State has a good year in basketball, we play UCONN in the first round. Would you rather it be played in Ames, or Louisville?

In all other divisions of the NCAA, up the the semis at least, in some cases the finals, playoff games are played at the home of the higher seed.

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

You're also talking about significantly less fans attending those games. I'm pretty sure the state of Iowa won't be seeing a BCS playoff game. In fact, I think a lot of those spots will be filled by big cities and professional football stadiums.
