    Nice ISU reference too.

Lets hope he can make some noise in Houston and keep up with the references to ISU. This can't hurt with recruiting.

Side note, I just picked up Sage in my fantasy league.

I want to see what he can do a full game after a week of practicing with first squad. Schaub isn't even that good.

I agree, I would like to see him get a good chance to play for a several week stretch and see how Sage would do.

Awesome to see this. I grew up in Maquoketa and Sage is the reason why my family started buying season tickets to ISU games. Sage will forever be my favorite player and contrary to what some people may think, was the best QB we've seen here in the last decade. Get out your insight.com bowl tapes and refresh your memory.

What year was it, when he "went off" on Texas?

We were waaay down in the 3d quarter and very nearly stole that one.

I think that was 1999. Was it the one where Applewhite drove them down for a field goal at the end of the game to win like 44-41?

I agree. If I am starting a team from scratch with ISU players I put Sage in at QB.

Great article. Too bad the Texans are kind of wedded to Schaub, as he was their "big" offseason acquisition.

Yes. That was a heartbreaking season. We lost close to Texas, lost to CU 16-12 or something and lost to KSU after leading 24-7 at half.
