    Physical CD

    I just ordered my first physical CD in about 10 years. When and what was the last CD you bought?



    Btw-the reason I ordered the cd was because it was $9 and free 2day shipping using amazon prime or $10 for the download. Can't wait to get the new Jack White cd.

    CD ROM so I can easily reload the Microsoft software I bought when it invariably crashes some day.

    I dont even know. I've bought some blu rays lately, but not a plain old CD. My laptop doesnt even have a cd drive.

    Yes, i know this, but nope, no drive whatsoever. Wanted a thin and light laptop, and a cd\dvd drive is dead weight.

    I have not owned an actual CD since -- guessing -- 2003-2004 or thereabouts. And I used to have over a thousand of them. Ripped them onto my computer and got rid of every single one of them.

    I used to burn home movies onto DVD. I've stopped doing that as well since Windows 7 can stream video to every TV in my house.

    Still have quite a few DVDs/blurays, however.

    I don't buy music on iTunes, if I download music it's for free, occasionally I'll like an album enough to go buy it too though. Last one was Foo Fighters recent album, before that I think The White Stripes, also got the DVD for that one.

    I don't buy a lot of music, but when I do, I still buy it on CD. If you look around, it's usually cheaper than an itunes download and I've always had this thing with liking to have a physical back up.
