    Kerwin Okoro

I am not sure what number he is going to be but here is an article echoing some of the comments on twitter about him being a defensive stopper.

There will always be room on a team for a player who excels at defending and can rebound well for his position. Let's hope he continues to improve in these areas as he works on his offense.

Okoro has good work ethic! He will be a solid player for us. Needs to work on his perimeter game though..

    Re: Kerwin Okoro

It's important that our guards are good rebounders for their size...With all the three-point shots taken you have to expect long rebounds...this is why Babb was the key guy for us last year for rebounding.

This will be nice also so he can learn under Babb as well and then kind of take over after Babb is gone! Love to hear this!

Okoro is the recruit I've heard the least about.

    Re: Kerwin Okoro

Just saw this tweet, very promising...

    Jon Rothstein ‏ @JonRothstein
Kerwin Okoro has dropped at least 10-15 pounds since earlier this year. Built like a truck. Physically ready to play at Iowa State.

    Re: Kerwin Okoro

Hopefully he will take over for Babb as the stopper....and if he can develop an offensive game, he will probably get a lot of minutes.

Maybe, but he did win a 3pt shooting contest recently.

My prediction, since he's the least talked about of the freshman and the one most assumed to have the worst career, he'll end up having one of the longest and most productive here at ISU.

Very excited to see how he defends. Sounds like a Derrick Hayes with more size and muscle
