    Windows Web Hosting

I have been searching online, but thought I would ask my fellow Fanactics, for some input.

I have a website (ASP.NET) with a SQL Server back end. I currently host free through GoDaddy, but I am looking to go to full time hosting (non free route) so banner ads are gone and you get a little more space, etc.

Anyone use a hosting company out there that they can recommend? I am looking for about as cheap as you can go for hosting an ASP.NET site with a SQL Server back end.

For questions about the site, it is a simple site protected by a login that some friends and I use for scheduling/tracking our bi-weekly poker game. I am having issues with Google reporting it as a phishing site falsely and I am hoping going the paid hosting route will help with that false report.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

What's your max monthly budget? How much monthly bandwidth, space, and database support do you need?

If you are mainly looking for cheap there are a ton. Pretty much every host does PHP/MySQL and ASP.NET/MSSQL.

Since you are already with GoDaddy you might as well stick with them. They have some plans at like $5 to $10 a month that will do what you need. Keep in mind GoDaddy and a lot of the cheaper hosts won't import a SQL BAK file. They will let you export them.

Yeah, I know all that. Just seeing if anyone has one they like, besides GoDaddy that they are using. I don't think GoDaddy is the cheapest out there, but yes, I could just stick with them.

At $5/month with MSSQL yeah they pretty much are the cheapest out there. They are basically making money off scale and hoping you don't need to talk to a sale or support person at any point.
