Pinkel says holding call is in the past

This year Pinkel says, "This is 2007 and really I have no interest in talking about what happened last year."

Last year Pinkel said, "My football team had a great come-from-behind victory. You've got to give them credit, but we held them in the fourth quarter, forced a bad field goal, and drove 80 yards and won the game. And the victory was taken away from them."

After the game, Walt Anderson, the Big 12's coordinator of officials, apologized to Pinkel for the holding call.

Attached is visual evidence of the holding call. Can someone send this to the DMR so we can finally reveal the truth about what happened last year?

    I think that was Curvey.

There was a better photo from a different angle, taken from behind the offensive line, probably in the southwest corner of the field. It showed Shawn Moorehead being put in a full-Nelson by one of Mizzou's linemen. I can't find that pic right now but its out there. So there were at least 2 holds that could be called on that play. Pinkel made the same fatal error that Chizik made in the game this past weekend....short yardage, and called a play that takes too long to develop rather than a quick hitter. In fact, I believe Mizzou's play was run from the shotgun, even though they were only about a half a yard away.

Still irritates me that the Big 12 commish came out right away and issued a public apology to Pinkel, but we didn't get jack for an apology for the TWO blown calls in our game against Nebraska.

Did ISU get an appology for Blythe almost getting his head seperated from his shoulders against Texas this year?

All I care about is that game still reads as a W for ISU and an L for Mizzou. That was last year. I would hape they have moved on from it. I hope we have to considering we no longer have Coach Mac.

    LOL, yeah right.

And Gary Pinkel sucks. He didn't say it's in the past, only that he doesn't want to talk about it. He's still upset. I gurantee it. My favorite quote was that Missouri lost because the players were playing for Mac.

I like how he also said that his players "forced a bad field goal" and then drove 80 yards for the victory. Yeah the players must have really went all out to force a bad FG by Shaggy.
