    Past Player Jerseys

With Iowa State letting you pick whatever name and number you want, I'm not sure if it would be pathetic or not to get a current jersey with the name/number of some of my past favorite players. I mean, I'd love to have a #31 Kock jersey, or a #52 Curvey, or #18 Rosenfels, or even, and this one would be awesome (I think...) #14 Seiler....

I kind of want to get one, but I'm not sure if I'm being pathetic or not.

If you're a grown man, it's pathetic. Grown men in jerseys are pathetic.

If you're under 25, live a little whilst you can.

I've been in the same seats at Jack long enough to have fond memories of Marv Seiler for the only reason we remember Marv Seiler. I believe I have pairs of socks that are older than 25.

than the question becomes who? I lean towards Kock, because I think he's the only man I've ever seen average more touchdowns than yards for more than a 3 game stretch, but Brent Curvey holds a place of love in my heart for being a D-Lineman with more touchdowns on a season than our starting running back that year....

According to the product details, you can't use current or past player's number/name combination.

I have seen so many jerseys out there for random players, I can't believe they actually pay attention to this.

    Re: Past Player Jerseys

I see a lot of people with the Van Ginkel custom jerseys instead of Nike ones, any idea where to pick these up?

    Re: Past Player Jerseys

Through some conversations I've had with players and the screenprinting people, it looks like all the jerseys with player names on them are family members and they are done through the athletic department.

    Re: Past Player Jerseys

Wanting a past player's jersey is not pathetic. What is pathetic is what I saw at the Vikings/Cowboys preseason game a couple of years ago. #10 Vikings jersey with "Tarkinton" on the back. That's pathetic.

I wish I had the pic but my sister took it on her phone and I don't have it.

Families get them made at one of the Hy Vees in town.
