For those of you close enough to Ames: An ISU professor, who is a well-known climate change expert and a part of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, is giving a talk tomorrow night.
Wednesday, October 24, 6:00 p.m., Technology, Globalization, and Culture Series, "Global Environmental Change: Technology and the Future of Planet Earth," Gene Takle, professor of atmospheric science and agricultural meteorology at Iowa State and faculty director of the University Honors Program, free, Alliant Energy-Lee Liu Auditorium, Howe Hall.
It is open to the public. Since this topic received a great deal of attention here before, I thought a few of you might be interested.
