Tom Crean will have the Hoosiers solid as long as he's there, which sucks because the ESPN hype train just loves it when the Hoosiers are good. Heck, the entire conference benefitted from the hype after IU beating UK this season.

tOSU without Sullinger, MSU without Green. Zeller is gonna dominate B10.

Parents went there, so always root for IU Basketball. I think the game is better when they are good.

Some teams are going to get major hype as long as they are at least winning. It's just going to happen. So if that's the case it is way more fun if the Kentucky, Kansas, Duke, Indiana, Mich. St. type teams actually are great teams. The recipe for maximum college basketball enjoyment is having the classic power teams living up to the hype and having your team be good enough to beat them.

I thought he'd go pro because he's scared of Adam Woodbury

Why is it hype when IU actually beat other good teams?

Crean did a nice job of keeping all that in-state talent at home.

That's cool you have a reason to root for them don't get me wrong but I hate it when people say stuff like that about a team in a specific sport. i.e. People who say college football is better when Notre Dame is relevant/good. BS, college football doesn't need them or owe them anything. Both sports will be just as good if the teams sucked.

Indiana kept Hanner Perea away from Scott Drew, so that's nice. Of course, this will just encourage the Big 10 hype again.

I think the Notre Dame example is a faulty one now. They have been relatively down long enough that the luster has worn off. I think a better way to look at that argument would be to ask yourself if you would have rather beat the Texas team we beat in 2010, or the Colt McCoy national title contender Texas team.

Indiana beat New Mexico St and VCU to get to the Sweet 16. Congrat-cha-freaking-lations.

They also lost to a lowly iowa team this year too. I don't know about you, but that is a bad team to lose to this year IMO.

They are a major "blue-blood" that media outlets, especially ESPN are ready to hype ad-nauseum.
