    Yet another lawn thread

As I walk through my yard I see tiny insects flying up from the grass. Not sure if these guys are the culprits but I also get little bites all over my legs and ankles. This has been the case the last couple years ans almost makes the lawn unusable. I'm guessing I have chiggers but I'm not sure. What is the best way to get rid of these things? I live in the Kansas City area.

Tempo if you go to a store that will sell it. Usually farm stores will. The same stuff is in the Bayer advanced lawn insect killer stuff at lowes or home depot but it's not as concentrated. You need pyrethroid of some sort, so look for cyfluthrin, lambda-cyhalothrin, or something with 'thrin in the name.

If you have a dog or kids, read the label for re-entry please. They're safe, but I always overdo safety with insecticides. Just my personal opinion.

My issues was thousands of spiders running around like ants. I sprayed the next day, screw that noise.

If you ask the basketball analysts outside the state of Iowa I think you would be surprised to hear their responses. Iowa was pegged as a preseason top 5 team by one ESPN analyst and is ranked in the vast, vast majority of preseason top 25 polls

I hate it when insects infiltrate the outdoors.
