Can Royce make an NBA roster

First of all I love Royce White and what he did for Iowa State basketball this year. His ability as a point forward is amazing and how he created difficult match-ups all season. Watching him play against Kentucky was amazing. I thought at times this was a man against boys. He totally intimidating teams all season, leading the Cyclones in every category. At 6'6 1/2 (he's not 6'8) I was impressed how he used his passing ability and dribbling to dissect opposing teams. My question is:
-How is Royce going to bring the ball up court in the NBA. Can he ?
-Will Royce be able to overcome his fear of flying 3 maybe 4 times a week for an 80 game plus season. ?
-Can Royce become a better free throw shooter in the NBA.
-Can Royce shoot a consistent 15ft. and beyond shot in the NBA
    - Finally, will Royce be a better NBA player then Harrison Barnes.

This was blown way out of proportion.

It will be the worst disaster since Washington capsized in the Delaware with all those shoes.

-Will Royce be able to overcome his fear of flying 3 maybe 4 times a week for an 80 game plus season. ? Yes
-Can Royce become a better free throw shooter in the NBA. Yes, shot over 60% in the NCAA tournament
-Can Royce shoot a consistent 15ft. and beyond shot in the NBA I think he can if he works on it
    - Finally, will Royce be a better NBA player then Harrison Barnes. Possibly. I see Harrison a lot like Evan Turner. Too slow to be anything special in the NBA.

Its the question posed in the title of this thread that is stupid. Not the actual questions you have. Its almost your way of getting people to read your threads.

Re: Can Royce make an NBA roster

    1) Yes, he can make an NBA roster.

    2) He can guard his position, has several weapons (dribbling, passing, finishing at the rim, and rebounding), and has a position to play (point forward).

    3) His game, height, and strength are similiar to Anthony Mason's.

    4) He should make a very good role player on a very good team.

Re: Can Royce make an NBA roster

He'll be just fine in the NBA. If he continues to develop his perimeter game he could be a fringe all-star. He's a man of many crafts. Hopefully he finds a team to properly utilize his point forward abilities.

And the travel isn't that bad on a normal 82 game schedule. They aren't exactly flying Southwest airlines either. He'll be comfortable.

Re: Can Royce make an NBA roster

Yes, Royce will play in the NBA. I hope for his sake he goes to a team that will utilize his skills, and give him some freedom.

Barnes is not athletic enough to dominate at that level. That is why his draft stock has slipped. He should be a high enough pick, that he will get a good contract.

He will be a solid player. Ron Harper was dominant athletically when he came into the league. After he blew out his knee, he was a solid player. I see Barnes being like that.

Re: Can Royce make an NBA roster

If Reggie Evans can spend that many years in the league them Royce will be fine.

I will bet that Barnes is a bigger flop overall. I have never seen a person brand themselves before getting drafted. Or someone that will at best be a roll player branding themselves.
