Re: Q&A: WR's coach Todd Sturdy

Got to spend some time with and watching Todd ........... IMHO a great person, role model and coach (flat out knows how to coach confidence which our WRs really need)

Re: Q&A: WR's coach Todd Sturdy

Great questions Chris, but pretty bland answers from Todd. I can't say I'm too surprised as he is completely new and doesn't want to go saying anything to back him into a corner as the new guy. You always want to take it slow when you are in his postion. However, I would have liked to see him single maybe a few guys out to give us something. Maybe I'm just spoiled being able to watch the Shane and Wally interviews. I love those guys and they are honest to a "T".

Great stuff as always Chris. Btw, I'm sure I'm not the only one who reads these articles you post... That doesn't always post a comment.

Re: Q&A: WR's coach Todd Sturdy

Thanks guys. I'm glad that you enjoyed the content.

For the record though, this was not a one-on-one interview. The questions were asked by a combination of reporters (myself included) who were at the media function. I don't want to take credit where it isn't due.

Regardless, I'm glad that you're reading! We'll have a lot of coverage on the site tomorrow from the scrimmage.

Re: Q&A: WR's coach Todd Sturdy

I thought the question regarding depth behind Lenz was strange. I've been thinking that the top two spots are locked down by Lenz and Horne. The spots behind them, then, being up for grabs. Just an observation.

Sturdy is originally from Iowa right? I would love to know what he thinks of being back in Iowa, if that was a driving force in taking this Iowa State job, etc.
