    Golf drivers

Recommend a new driver for under 150. Also, should I go with Stiff or regular flex? I golf frequently but by golf I mean drink and I'd like to improve clubs and my game this year.

I would go to Golf Galaxy and look at their used drivers or last years models as they have a pretty good selection. You can also test them there so that is nice little bonus.

    3balls.com.

It is the best site out there for getting semi-used clubs for cheap. And they are always in the shape that they say they are. Never had a problem. Find something you like and get it from that site.

    Re: Golf drivers

eBay isn't too bad either...bought a Cleveland Hi-bore brand new for like $125 a few years ago and it helped me tremendously. Also I had a problem with slicing the ball and the new driver had a stiffer shaft which may have been what helped.

Edit: Haha I said "stiffer shaft"

    Re: Golf drivers

Just make sure you get a good stiff shaft when you buy your club.....I think there is a joke in here somewhere. A lot of clubs are cheaper because of a cheap shaft.

    Re: Golf drivers

There are quite a few drivers that are a couple years old that should be in that price range. Just depends on what brand you want to go with. As far as shafts go, it really depends on your swing and clubhead speed. If you have a pretty decent swing, you prolly need a stiff shaft. If you get a regular flex shaft and have to much clubhead speed, it can cause more severe miss hits.

You can never go wrong with Taylormade drivers. I have had the last 3 makes, the r7, r9 and the r11, and have loved em all.

Taylormade is recommended because you can adjust there clubs to help correct your ball flight.
