Moved up! And the Grizzlies are a good team who prior to the season some pegged as a dark horse for the Western Conference Finals.

Memphis would be a good spot for him, I would think.

Do these pre-workout mock drafts mean much of anything? My guess is "no". Particularly those not in the lottery.

i think it's more of a feel-good attempt for sports columnists to see if they actually know what they're talking about

rarely pan out in the NBA

TRobinson is a good player, but I just don't see a 6-8 power forward being anything more than servicable in the league....people must think he can play multiple positions at the next level??

I don't get the love for Sullinger at #15. He might have a better outside shot than Royce but I think Royce has a much higher ceiling.

This was my thoughts exactly, Sullinger might be the safe pick because you know what you are getting, but what it is will be an average pro who's isn't going to get much better. Royce has star potential with such a high ceiling.

Draft express dropped him to 25. He was 18 last week.

Sullinger's athleticism was the most overrated thing in college hoops the past two years. He looked slow as molasses against Thomas Robinson, who is a great player, but an extremely ho hum matchup he'd face compared to NBA bigs on a nightly basis.

Royce is higher risk because of lack of any shooting range, but he has a lot more potential and is a much better athlete. I think Royce is a better rebounder on day one in the NBA than Sullinger because he's much, much quicker to the ball.

And now that Justin Hamilton has declared, I think we can safely drop Royce back another spot. Dang!

I don't think anyone ever claimed he was athletic. He's usually talked about as a wide-body post player that plays below the rim. I think his ceiling is a past his prime Elton Brand.

BTW- Royce has been at 22 since he announced on NBAdraft.net

Royce is deceptively quick for a guy his size. Also has some surprising hops -- nothing crazy, but better than you might think.

I think workouts will help Royce quite a bit. Get to really show off his strength and speed. That'll be the biggest thing, is showing people his quickness and athleticism, because I feel like that's something people doubt for some reason.

Lets just say, Royce is slow running the court he doesn't get up and down real well. Royce with the ball is explosive getting up and down the court, though. It's a weird thing to watch. I agree with his hops. I think he gets up better than Thomas Robinson.

Sullinger has the potential to be Kevin Love 2.0. I would take Royce over him all day, though.
