    Any MLB.tv subscribers out there?

Just wanted to get opinions on this. I would consider it but it would be nice to split the cost with someone. Does anyone do that? Can two people log into the same account at the same time?

Just want to see what you all think about it, if you or someone uses it.

I was able to be logged on last year while my brother was logged in elsewhere on the same account...

Beware of the blackout restrictions. For me, games against half of the division are blacked out. That's why I choose to go w/ gameday audio.

Never thought of that. Was it basically any Fox, ESPN, Comcast, WGN, etc channel showing the game?
This could not be for me then if I want to see the Cubs.

I'm a Reds fan (obviously), and the Cubs, Brewers, & Cardinals are all in the "local" market. I couldn't even watch the FSN Ohio broadcast against those teams. Sucks.

Re: Any MLB.tv subscribers out there?

I've had this for a couple years now. It appears that they haven't tightened the restrictions on how many usernames you can use with your devices, so you should be able to split the costs with someone and use as many logins as you want. I highly recommend it through the PS3 in the past or Xbox, which is new this year I guess.

As far as blackout restrictions go, It obviously depends on your IP address. For some reason when I lived in Ames though with Mediacom, I was only blacked out to the Cubs (rather than the 5 teams that Iowa was supposed to have blacked out). I did use a Proxy that worked amazing with HD when I was "blacked out" and couldn't watch a game I wanted too.

I wonder how it would work if you created a wi-fi cell hotspot?

I bought gameday audio last year and it was cool while it worked. Then it acted like I didn't have a subscription and for some reason I didn't call anyone about it.

I never had a problem with it last year and I loved it. Listening to baseball games is awesome.

I wonder what the deal was with mine then. You're right, it is. Pretty cheap for the entire season too.

Agree. I buy the gameday audio every year. Listening is awesome, because you can multi-task while doing so. And to top it off Marty Brennaman is one of the best announcers ever.

I love MLB.tv. I split it with my dad and my cousin. But any the Braves play either of the Chicago teams, MIL, MN, KC, or STL I can't watch the game in the Des Moines area.

Here's the blackout map and restrictions:

    We're in a terrible state blackout-wise.

Re: Any MLB.tv subscribers out there?

Doesn't appear it will make much sense for a Cubs fan living in Eastern Iowa. Seems like I can watch them most any time I want between WGN, Comcast, and sometimes Fox Midwest.
