Funny lines in otherwise Dark movies

I always enjoy when there is a funny line in a dark movie. My favorite has to be in Se7en when the get out to the desert and the see the dead dog.

    "What's that?"
    "Dead dog"
    "I didn't do that..."

ďUrgency,Ē Rhoads said. ďThatís exactly what I told our staff. Itís exactly what I told our players. Urgency in getting your job done. Thatís in a 100 percent rate of speed at executing your responsibility ó whether itís a fit, whether itís a tackle, whether itís a route, whether itís a cut-off block. Everybody needs a little bit more urgency in coaching and playing.Ē

No lines, but I work approximately 10 minutes from where that scene was filmed. I suspect the dog probably killed itself.

    From "Blue Velvet":

"Heineken? **** that ****! Pabst Blue Ribbon!"

    ...

I suppose black comedies don't count, since it suggests a balance of dark/funny ó but there are numerous examples from "Goodfellas" and "Fargo."

My favorites are from Slingblade. I don't know why but I think Dwight Yoakam is absolutely hilarious in that movie. My favorite is when Frank starts throwing all the beer bottles at Doyle while he is by the door and he finally says "Alright, **** me, I'll leave." Not sure why I find it so humorous but I always bust out laughing.

Ice Harvest, Billy Bob's character lets wife get shot then says - "...But I think he was counting on a level of commitment and affection between her and me that just simply wasn't there."

Fargo had quite a few. I was never quite sure to laugh or to be disgusted. The Coen's are pretty well known for that in all of their movies though.

"Hey is this the kind of ****** that drools and rubs **** in his hair and all that, 'cause I'm gonna have a hard time eatin' 'round that kind of thing now. Just like I am with antique furniture and midgets. You know that, I can't so much as drink a damn glass of water around a midget or a piece of antique furniture."
