What was the worst loss of the season?

When ISU lost in a poorly played game to Texas in the Big 12 tournament, they set themselves up to play Kentucky. Had they beat the Longhorns, they would have assuredly played an easier team than the Wildcats in the 2nd round, and most likely would have won.

Clearly, ISU is as good as Baylor or maybe even Louisville.

How sweet it would have been to play in the final four, IF we had beaten Texas.

Worst loss was probably Missouri either time.

Because of what it did to our seed...the loss to Texas in the Big 12 tournament.

There's no guarantee that if we drew a different first round opponent that we'd even make it past the 2nd (1st) round.

The worst losses of the season were UNI/Drake.

Yep, The loss to Kentucky. If we didn't lose to Kentucky we could still be playing tonight.

If we were playing instead of Kentucky tonight against Kansas, and Kansas won.....I would kill something.

That big 12 tournament game. We beat Texas, then we're a 7 seed. 50% chance we play either Norfolk state or Lehigh. We couldve a serious run.

Re: What was the worst loss of the season?

The Drake loss, and the $50 and all my credits that were lost with that.

No way should have we lost to them, I think we would of beat them by 20 if we played them now

Drake and Northern Iowa. Win those games and the Texas game doesn't matter. ISU gets no lower than a 7 seed, but likely get a 5 or 6 seed even with the Texas loss.

    Man....why even think about it.

Every loss sucked, but there were so many more good moments.

Sorry, I had to offset this negative thread with a positive one. I can't pick out one loss that sucks more than the rest. They all suck.
