    Tiller turning heads at WR

Nice article about Tiller and his switch to WR. Great attitude by Tiller and love the fact that he is All In. No doubt. Rather than pout about the fact that he is not playing QB, Tiller instead has chosen to work hard and get his grades in order and contribute at WR where he can help the team, rather than just quitting. THAT is the kind of character we want from our Cyclones.

    Tiller deserves Kudos for this.

Good for him. He can still contribute I think. Seems like he has things in order, lot of kids would have quit or transferred out.

We can do some trick plays with him at wr. It's like having two quarterbacks on the field

Re: Tiller turning heads at WR

His demeanor on the sidelines last year in street clothes and work ethic really impressed me. I will forever thank him for that beauty of a bomb he threw to Jake Williams in Lincoln...I really hope he finds success on the other end of some passes like that!

Sounds Austin Flynnesq, we have Lenz as the 3rd down receiver though already. Hope it works out

Re: Tiller turning heads at WR

Looking back, I wonder if the academic ineligibility might have helped him make the transition. He knew he couldn't be out there last year, knew he wouldn't be out there (at QB) this year. Focused on his school, prepared his mind for the reality of 'your future is at WR'.

Good for him. Glad to see him still grinding to be an asset to his team.

I'm not sure just how far those heads are "turning". I don't think we're talking the "head turning" that someone like Nealy or Irving has been doing.

like how we had former QB darius reynolds run those trick plays... oh wait...

lenz i believe has the highest passer rating in ncaa history, so he is our best option for the WR pass plays

on another note... i will not be disappointed if tiller doesnt see the field this year. would rather see a younger guy get the PT and gain experience rather than a guy with only 1 year of eligibility left... it's not like he is gonna make much of a difference. i see bundrage, ecby and daniels seeing the field alot more than tiller.

Whether Tiller sees the field or not, I still think he is making a difference. The great attitude of a senior who moves on through adversity and doesn't complain and is doing what he can to help the team is contagious. It is an example of ALL IN and doing what you can to help the team.

Not everyone gets to see the field. The example of working hard and fighting through adversity gives someone for the younger players to look up to and see the Right Way of doing things when things don't work out as a person had hoped they would. That form of contribution is invaluable.

This makes no sense. What your saying is that if Tiller is better than one of those guys he shouldn't see the field just because you want someone younger. You put your best guys on the field every time you plan, it doesn't matter who it is. Tiller deserves time if he can make plays and gives us a better chance to win.
