    Veishea events

My question specifically is about the world record attempt. For people that have one it before, how long does the game last? (I don't expect to make it very far, but if something happens then I want to know how long it goes).

Also what are some other events you prefer to do? Thanks, I wanna take part in the VEISHA activities and am looking for suggestions of fun games to play (I don't really have any preferences on sport).

    Re: Veisha events

I was part of the world record for biggest knockout game last year. Actually I was the tying person for the record and my buddy was the new record. It was fun. I lasted a couple rounds and then choked. We had to get there early to get in our seats and I was there for probably an hour of knockout. I have no idea how long it went on but I'd guess another hour to hour and a half.

cool, I heard they are trying to get ESPN to come (doubt it) and that they are looking at 1000 people to come..which is around 3 times bigger then the previous year...so guessing around 3 hours then.

    Re: Veisha events

From everything that I have heard the new Battleship game is one that you will definitely want to sign up for. Check it out on the tournaments page. Pretty much all of the tournaments are fun, they're like intramurals but more compacted so you have a better shot at winning them and you get to play different things more often.

Also, I don't want to be that guy as well, but it is either VEISHEA or Veishea, not Veisha.

We had 900 confirmed guests on Facebook last year and then had 360 show up so you never know.

They submitted last year's to ESPN and I think it was rumored that it was going to have an appearance on Sports Nation. I'm not sure if that happened.

Does the boxing club still put on an event for VEISHEA?

Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

Ya, my bad on the spelling.

and I guess the less people the better (as long as it sets a record that is).

We were only beat by 19 which sucks. At least beat us by 100.

Remember how many people it seemed like we had last year? 1000 would be crazy but so awesome. Bring something to do while you wait in your seat for the next round.
