    Congrats, Royce!

Wish we could have had him here, longer. Truly a special, special player. Go unleash on the NBA!

Could have been first team next year if he would have stayed

With all the talent leaving for the NBA this year, I would agree he could be 1st or 2nd team.

Re: White named to AP All-American Honorable Mention

White, Barnes, McDermott, and Dendy all received some bit of All-American mention.

    Ahhh, the circle of life.

Wow, I thought this thread would get more traffic. This is great news for him and for ISU!

Re: White named to AP All-American Honorable Mention

I sure hope that Royce made the right decision. I just want everything to work out for him in the end. I'm fearful he's going to fall to where he doesn't get guaranteed money, and ends up in the development league or something?

I know you're all going to tell me I'm crazy, but more and more guys will be declaring. He can only fall, and not rise IMO. I just hope he received the best advice possible.

Unlike a lot of NBA big guys, he makes those around him better. And he grows on you as a person. I see his stock going up once he is in the NBA, particularly if he emerges as a positive force for a not-so-good team.

He should have mentioned Harrison Barnes or Doug Gottlieb in the title to get more traffic.

I'm really happy for Royce. I think he'll always have a special place in ISU history. Similar to what Barry Stevens did in the '80s he was the big star that put ISU back on the map and hopefully ignite a long tradition of winning.

Everyone is too busy hating on Harrison Barnes. Congrats to Royce

The good thing is he will likely land with a playoff team and that is huge for him. Fizer going to the Bulls post Jordan was disastrous. Royce will be fine. Has a lot more perspective than most of these kids.
