    Starting Farrells 3/31

Any advice from veterans out there? Anything I should do this week to prep? I am doing the 5:30 am session and am by no means "in shape".

If you feel like you might have a chance to win the $1000, eat and drink as much as possible this week.

I do...and I will. What do they base the 1000 dollars off?

your before and after pictures, mainly... if you're going for the contest you'd want to sloth it up this week and look as pale as possible with your gut hanging out for the first picture, then spend the next 10 weeks tanning/doing extra exercise outside of class

5:30 classes are always packed, make sure you get there early to get a space.

    Re: Starting Farrells 3/31

I did farrells one summer, it was a great workout because but i thought it got monotonous. I enjoyed Kosama a lot more. I got into great shape though even though I was already pretty in shape, i trimmed off like 5% body fat. If you want it to be effective you really need to eat healthy though. Take one day to do nothing and eat whatever once a week or else you'll burn out. Enjoy being sore everyday too, i played tons of sports in high school and i don't think i ever felt as sore after those as i did with farrells. Good luck!

I could not do kickboxing every other day like that. It is boring enough 1 day a week.

Great advice. I do three bad meals. I allow myself to have three bad meals a week and it doesn't matter when they are. I can do them all in one day or spread them out. The rest of my time is spent eating a lot of stuff that doesn't taste very good and doesn't fill me up.
