I agree, the Big XII won't be as top heavy, but everything in the top two-thirds could be up for grabs

The thing is, that sounds like a broken record, yet they always finish on top!

I think I've heard this a few times in the last 8 years. I do think someone could dethrown them, but i would pencil them in for first until it happens

    Re: Big 12 Next Season

    1. Kansas- They stay in this spot until someone beats them
    2. West Virginia- They'll be tough
    3. ISU- I think ISU could be better next year than this year
    4. Baylor- still be tough, but Baylor is Baylor is Baylor
    5. Kansas State- top half with Frank, 7th or 8th without Frank
    6. Texas- this is assuming Brown is gone
    7. Oklahoma- Kruger is a good coach
    8. Oklahoma State- a lot of talent but page held them together this year
    9. Texas Tech- Gillespie will imrprove them
    10. TCU- not a ton of talent here, tough adjustment for TCU

I think the top 8 teams are very even for next season.

It's tough to say right now. Our roster isn't complete. We will pick someone up for next year who is going to be a major contributor.

    Re: Big 12 Next Season

    1-Baylor
    2-ISU
    3-Kansas
    4-OSU
    5-K-State
    6-WVU
    7-Texas
    8-Oklahoma
    9-Texas Tech
    10-TCU

EDIT: I Can't believe I have Baylor at #1 but didn't want to be a huge homer and put us. If Miller declares that'll change things.

“One day we’ll be in here celebrating a Big 12 championship,” Rhoads said. “That I can promise you.”

"I hope to coach here until I retire," Hoiberg said.

I think Oklahoma could surprise some people next year. Pledger, Fitzgerald, & Clark make up a solid nucleus and Kruger is a great coach.

    Re: Big 12 Next Season

    KU
    ISU
    Bay
    KSU
    WVU
    UT
    OSU
    OU
    TCU
    Tech

KU will be very good, period. Pretty sure Baylor gets 3 guys drafted, Acy, Miller, & Jones. Those are the 3 who gave them a huge length advantage. We finished ahead of them this year and if Clyburn and Lucious live up to the hype I don't think there is any way we finish behind them next year.

Other than that no one really stands out to me, KSU could sneak up there if Martin is still coaching there next year. The top of the Big 12 probably won't be as good as this year but the conference depth should be a lot better. Don't dismiss TCU too easily, they beat some good teams this year.

Both Oklahoma and OSU could be sleeper teams next year to finish in the top half.

They lose 3 senior starters including their 2 best players.
