    Trouble brewing in Manhattan?

@DFerrel @FanningKSU South Carolina media talkin about Frank Martin not bein happy w/ AD. Talking about him taking SCar job.
    http://mrsec.com/2012/03/rumorreport...-carolina-job/

Frank is not happy over John Currie's decision to declare Jamar Samuels ineligible for the Syracuse game, as well as previous conflicts in which Currie has displayed a dislike for Frank's on-court demeanor. In addition, word is flowing that Will Spradling and Thomas Gipson may transfer. Could be a bad few months/ years down the road.

Uh, you must have missed it, we are talking about K State here.

I like Frank Martin. Not necessarily his antics, but he's real. And, he cares about his kids.

I'd hate to see Frank leave the Big 12 but if the relationship is as bad as some make it sound then I can't blame him for wanting to move on.

    Re: Trouble brewing in Manhattan?

I listened to Martin's post game press conference and you could tell he didn't have much respect for the AD.

He said that the decision wasn't his, in his opinion Samuel's didn't do anything wrong but as a university we have to protect ourselves. He went on to say that all questions should be directed to his supervisor.

I'm paraphrasing some as I don't remember the exact words but nothing about it showed that he was happy about or that he supported it.

Agreed. I'm a big Frank fan. I swung and had a huge whiff with my original judgment of his hire and shortly after.

He doesn't act the same way I would on the sideline but the mutual love and respect for his players is obvious and he is one of the most gracious coaches in the game.

    Re: Trouble brewing in Manhattan?

I would love to see their program implode. Right now after KU, the rest of the B12 is up for grabs.

    OU is down currently.
OSU could be back next year depending on who comes back.
TCU may be on the rise.
Tech should be pretty bad again.
    Don't know much about WVU.
    Baylor probably loses a lot.
    UT could be quite good.

I could see us in the top 3 again even if Royce leaves. If Royce stays, then I think it's us or KU for the B12 title.

Love Frank Martin. If he leaves. That whole team will leave. You watch. Notice how many spanish type kids they have on that team. That is because Frank is of Latin Herritage.
K-State should be kissing his butt to stay in that crap town.

Would be bad for the conference to lose a quality coach but good for ISU

What were they thinking. This is the school that hired huggy bear, did they suddenly develop a conscience.

I think Frank Martin is a great coach, and I would love to not play him 2 (maybe 3) times per season.
