RW: Will he stay or will he go?

i'm not looking for everyone's analysis as to why he should go or why he should stay because there is already a huge thread on that.

just getting a feel for what people BELIEVE he will actually do as the other thread seems fairly divided. I think he stays, even after i remove my cardinal goggles.

I think he leaves. Either way, he's one of my favorite all time Cyclones.

Re: RW: Will he stay or will he go?

With the so called "Character" issues he had coming to Ames, another year of playing basketball and proving how he has changed his life will help his draft stock, along with another year under Hoiberg. I think he stays for one more.

Despite thinking that it would be best for him to stay, I think he will go.

Dumb thing to say. He could stay or he could go. Unless your Royce you don't know. I personally think he stays. Would not be shocked if he goes.

He'll stay one more year, it's the smart move for his future.

Re: RW: Will he stay or will he go?

I hope I'm wrong but I think he goes. I think the pull of being able to provide for Royce II will make it a difficult opportunity to pass up. Of course, now that I think about it a little bit more, Royce II may keep him here if he realizes time with his son will be little in the NBA.

Fred, if Royce II is 1/2 of the monster his pops is, get that kid a scholarship offer right now!

Re: RW: Will he stay or will he go?

I think he stays. He played great in the tournament, and all year, but I don't think he played himself into a first round selection. The smart move is to stay put for another year.

Re: RW: Will he stay or will he go?

I think he will stay. He seems mature enough to realize that we have a potentially great team next year and that a good showing again will only help his draft status. I'm sure he also realizes he could improve on a few things as well (free throws and mid-range jumper come to mind).

0 percent is a bit of an exageration, but its probably pretty close to that. If he was on the fence before the NCAA's, hes probably not anymore after OWNING 2 of the top centers in the country on the grandest stage. He will be a top 5 favorite Cyclone of mine for sure.

Re: RW: Will he stay or will he go?

I think he stays at ISU.

He will not be a lottery pick. This is a deep draft. I think his anxiety issues will make him to a 2nd round pick. NBA GM's will not give guaranteed money to someone who does not have a true position and has other issues.

The Republicans and Democrats fighting over who should pay for the deficit, is like two drunks on the Titanic arguing over who should pay the bar tab.

Re: RW: Will he stay or will he go?

Royce and Fred have a great relationship. This allows Fred to be very honest w/ Royce and for Royce to take it all in. Fred knows what he's talking about re the NBA. All this being considered I think Fred will advise 1 more year to get his draft stock up and have guaranteed money for his family.
