    Redshirts?

    Chris Weir Jr DL
    Michael Tate Jr DL
    Kelechi Osemele Fr OL
    Joseph Klerekoper Fr OL
    Randy Kellman Fr DE
    Matt Hulbert Fr OL
    Joe Blaes Jr OL
    Jerrod Black Fr DL
    Trey Baysinger Fr OL

Anyone know if any of them have played a down? I don't think they have. A couple of them are just freshmen. I'm guessing they are going to be redshirted.

Do you think Chizik really played the guys that gave us the best shot at winning? If he didn't, I can't blame him. I say let the guys you want to keep longer, redshirt and learn the systema little longer.

    Re: Redshirts?

Weir has played in 5 games. Hulbert has 6 appearances. Tate has 1. Everyone else on your list has 0.

    Re: Redshirts?

I'm pretty sure both Wier and Tate have both played.

    Re: Redshirts?

I know for sure that Weir and Hulbert have played. Hulbert used up his redshirt last year anyway. Some people have said they have seen Baysinger play, and I kinda believe them. There was a picture of Taylor and a #72 tackling someone, and the only 72 on the roster is Osemele, which means he may have moved to the D-Line. Tate was on last weeks participation report, yet I thought he was hurt.

Also, anybody know about So TE Collin Franklin? I know he has a redshirt year available and since we lose Barkema and Howe I'm hoping he's getting redshirted.

    Re: Redshirts?

Baysinger and Rubin are both #71. There may be confusion.

I saw the pic of #72 (it was at Toledo, IIRC), but KO doesn't show up in any participation reports.

Tate and Kirkpatrick (walkon WR) are both #81, so I'm guessing if there was an #81 out there it was Tate.

    Re: Redshirts?

I thought the only two freshmen to play were Bates and Cameron Bell. At least I thought Chizik stated that.

Wait a minute here. You say we are confused if it was Tuba or not? Tuba is 326 and very large.

I can't prove it, but I don't think that is correct.

    Re: Redshirts?

I think JUCO players Blaes and Alvarez have not played this year. Also freshmen Baysinger, Black, Green, Kellman, Klerekoper, Mathews, Mathis, Osemele and A. Sandvic.

According to the game participation report on Cylones.com Tate, Collin Franklin and Neal have each played one game.
