    Trent Locket commits to ASU

To Arizona State. We need 1 possibly 2 guys for the 2009 class. I hope that we don't strike out on everyone and get a big one. This one is disappointing. I know the staff was very high on Lockett

    dang.. that kinda sucks..

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

With the chicks down at ASU, he probably had a Jesus Shuttlesworth type visit.

But in all seriousness, sad we missed out on Trent. Herb Sendek is a really good coach though and PT should be readily available down there. I really hope we beat MN again this year on the court, couldn't hurt the recruitment of White and Williams.

Crap. He looked like he would've been a really solid get.

He must like playing in front of nobody. I was a student down there for a while. It's awesome down there. Hot chicks, nice weather, good scenery. The problem nobody has ever succeeded down there as a coach is because nobody cares about Arizona State. They go to Suns games but nobody goes to the games. They have nice facilities and everything. Just a dead place to watch a game. I went to a few games down there and it's like Carver only 50% full.

I live down here, and the apathy toward ASU basketball is sad. The ISU women draw bigger crowds than the ASU men do. Hopefully Sendak can infuse some energy into the program. (Just hopefully not at the expense of ISU's recruiting efforts.)

    You know whats sad

Arizona State got a commit from a 4 star, top 100 basketball prospect today in Trent Lockett. I went to the ASU boards from Rivals and Scout. Rivals has not one post on there message board. Scout has 4 poasts. 2 of them from the same person. Nobody seems excited or anything. Now we lose the same player and there are a bunch of posts on every board about the guy. It's sad that a University cares so little about sports and kids go there expecting a lot. Lockett is going to be disappointed he went to school there. I was friend with a Former basketball player at Arizona State named Jeremy Veal. He said he loved playing on the road because the other crowd would get him so jacked up. If you can't tell I am bitter Lockett went to ASU. I wish he would have went to a school that Cared about basketball. Even if it was not ISU.
