    Attendance Sat.

So with the men starting during the wbb game I wonder how much the attendance will suffer at Hilton Sat? I WILL be there but I'm sure a couple thousand won't. I know the men have a huge game on Sat. but don't forget about our wbb. They have a very tough first round opp. and need all the help they can get.

The people that already bought tickets will be there.

It'll kill any chance of a decent walk-up crowd.

I like having his problem - great to have two NCAA tournament teams - we'll watch WBB live and record MBB. I'm sure Hilton will keep us informed. This is a good year to be a Cyclone - perhaps our highest Director's Cup standing ever.

For the most part, I agree.

However, if someone's looking for another way to whine about the NCAA showing ISU little love by setting the schedules for men's and women's games at the same or overlapping times, this would fulfill that wish.
When TV dollars are at work, men's games will outdraw women's any day, any time.

I was at the selection watch and they had cbs on the big screen. I wonder if they could put the mbb game on there after the women's game ends?

That might be annoying watching that on TV there with 1000 Cat fans going nuts.

Hard to tell how well they travel, but they averaged over 6000 per game so you figure there should be a decent contingent. However, you'd think that many of them would leave Hilton after their game and go somewhere else so they can watch the whole game. and not just the second half. Their game will be over around 6:15, giving them about half-an-hour to return to their hotel or find somewhere to watch the game.

Which leads to an interesting question: is there going to be an Ames bar overrun with Kentucky fans tomorrow?

Will be there - go Sisters! And if the men are doing well then we will have a nice ride home listening.

Like the GB fans - they really travel well last time and seem like very savvy fans.
