Joe is serious and I can believe that he had friction with Tony. On the ESPN radio, Tony was extremely lazy and talked about what sandwiches he was eating each day. MNF was his last chance to redeem his career. Now the best NFL games are on Sunday night. I can see where Tony rubbed Joe raw as it was ego versus ego. I still like John Madden the best.
Let my Fred's Posse Ride: Georges, Naz, Hogue, Bryce, Nader, Monte, Matt, and McKay.
It was a lot better when it was Theismann (although not a huge fan), Paul MaGuire, and Mike Patrick on Sunday nights with Al and John on Monday. The Sunday Night crew was hilarious. I like Tony Kornheiser, but he's not a football announcer.
Funny how T.O. and Randy Moss are both working very well with their respective teams w/o any problems off or really on the field this year and the analysts who usually RIP them apart can't get along and are losing jobs over it...Karma.
