    Brackets

Take all the love out of the equation. If you have money on this first round match up, Who do you take , ISU or UConn?
I just donít think we have the talent to match up, I know talent isnít everything, but if I have money on this game and I do, I have to go with UConn. I want ISU to win and I will be cheering for them, but at the same time, I donít want my bracket to suffer to much.

Royce dishes and the rest of the boys shoot threes. If we can beat KU, BU, and KSU, we can beat these guys.

    Re: Brackets

ISU. UConn fans admit their team doesn't defend the perimeter well, which is our team's strength. We nail our threes and it's a very short stay for UConn.

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

    Re: Brackets

Assuming we put Babb on Lamb (UConn's main scoring threat), I think we win this.

They will have an advantage inside and I think we may need some good play out of Percy to negate that.

UConn is awful at defending the three, we're really good at the three. Definite offensive advantage for us right there.

The only thing I'm scared of is this team not showing up/stage being too big for us. Seems like that might be a possibility for us...

    I got ISU by 6.

Babb can slow down Lamb but I have a feeling Napier is going to tear us apart. Also who guards Drummond? Ejim is too small I think.

Agree with having to make our 3's, but keeping uconn off the glass will be crucial. We do those two things well we will be in good shape.

I really think we see a heavy dose of Percy this game.

Napier is gonna be key for them. Babb should slow down Lamb.

Allen's D is gonna be huge.

    Re: Brackets

Hard to look past coaching and tourney experience, but if someone gets a hot hand outside we can win it. Scotty and Allen are playing to extend their playing careers. That could be a key motivator.

    Re: Brackets

As of right now we're a 1 point favorite.

There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams
